France, 1900-2004, extensive and very attractive mint collection, elegantly mounted in 3 Lighthouse hingeless albums + a small stock book of newer issues, including regular issues, commemoratives, semi-postals, airmail, precancels, postage dues, officials, souvenir sheets and more. Essentially complete from 1939, with an ample representation of the earlier issues of the 20th century. The best item is probably the 1937 PEXIP souvenir sheet, LH in margins (catalog value $360), and there are many better sets and singles in the $50-$150 catalog value range. The quality is exceptional: a spot check shows nearly all are NH from 1951 on, with many NH earlier; there are only a very few early used. Overall a nice clean 20th century collection, without any 19th century duds, generally Very Fine. A small sampling has been imaged. Shipping weight 21 lbs / 9.5 kilos. Scott approximately $6,800.
