1869, 12¢ S.S. Adriatic (Scott 117), a wonderful gem of U.S. classic philately, possessing magnificent world-class centering and brilliant color, unused without gum, Superb, with 2023 P.F. certificate graded SUP 98. Scott $725.

Unique in this grade! SMQ does not price SUP 98 without gum and lists only one with gum (at $19,500!). Coming up with an estimate is real guess work. Scott typically prices stamps without gum for the 1869 issue at about one-third the o.g. price - so this might well be worth - who knows?
