Lote 198 1886-1954, picture post card collection, 118 unique postcards in all with 80 being postally used and 38 being unused, many with interesting content such as the earliest one dated 1886 - a wanted postcard for a man accused of incest, highlights include a postcard made of macerated banknotes by the US Treasury Dept., soldier's mail (many with censored cancels), propaganda, scenes from interesting locations, cars, trains, ships (with neat cancels), planes (with airmail cancels), some with interesting postmarks and postage due markings, all postally used cards are imaged both front and back on our website…this lot is definitely worth a long look as it is packed full of interesting items!
