1873, 2¢ Jackson, C.B.N.C. printing (Scott 157), transitional paper variety much thicker than normal Continental paper, "soft" appearance when held to light. Likely made by the American Bank Note Co. and known examples are generally not found earlier than 1878, well centered, neat segmented cork cancel, Very Fine.
