Podres, Johnny, 1932-2008, John Joseph Podres was an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played in the majors from 1953 to 1969, spending most of his career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. Podres won four World Series titles with the Dodgers. His signature on this colorful cacheted cover of him and postmarked New York, NY 2/9/1985.
