Japan, 1938-56, National Park souvenir sheets complete for the period (J.S.C.A. P9//P0. Scott 280a//625a), 20 in total, missing only the 1936 souvenir sheet to be fully complete. All with original folders except for 1939 Aso, 1941 Tsugitaka-Arisan, 1949 Yoshino-Kumano and 1953 Unzen. The 1938 to 1951 souvenir sheets are o.g., never hinged and good quality (except 1938 Nikko with a light gum wrinkle, 1939 Aso with a gum crease and writing on gum, 1941 Daiton Niitaka-Arisan with a large fingerprint on gum, 1941 Tsugitaka-Arisan with a gum crease, 1949 Yoshino-Kumano is without gum, 1950 Akan with large gum skips, and 1951 Towada with a gum wrinkle). The 1952 to 1956 souvenir sheets are without gum as issued and in good condition (except 1952 Bandai Asahi, 1953 Shikotsu-Toya, 1953 Ise-Shima and 1953 Unzen are hinged or with hinge remnants).
