Worldwide, 1840-1968, massive collection in 8 Scott International albums, mint and used, neatly hinged on pages, and apparently a third to half complete for the period - tens of thousands of stamps. Nearly all countries are represented to some degree. Early issues are more used than mint, later tend more toward mint or CTO. Full sets, part sets and some mixed mint and used sets, even a few souvenir sheets. No rarities, but plenty of items cataloging up to about $400 each. Mostly clean with only a few faults noted in the earliest issues (which don't catalog much). Main value is probably in 20th century mint. A nice lot for a collector or for a dealer wanting to pull items from it for stock. An internet dealer could probably milk this for years. Condition averages Fine to Very Fine. A small sampling has been imaged. Shipping weight 72.5 lbs / 32.9 kilos.

Cataloged by the original owner many years ago where it came to over $60,000 Scott. A check against recent Scott catalogs indicates the current catalog value is probably around $70,000 to $75,000 .
