1861-1992, six volume Platinum Series collection, not a lot in the first volume but more as each volume continues, volume 5 is nearly complete; the catalog value does add up and a few noteworthy items are a Sc #231 n.h., #257 (no gum), #412 pr, #C1-6, we have imaged all of the real catalog value on our website and the rest is more or less postage in the more modern era - of particular value are the Platinum albums themselves which retail for $1000+ (we noted a set exactly like this without any stamps sold on eBay in January for $780; a rare find indeed!
