Lote 198

/o/

France, 1854-2000, collector's mint and used duplicates, hundreds and hundreds of stamps, plus about 30 covers, loosely arranged on black stock cards. There is considerable duplication (up to about 10 each), with regular issues, semi-postals, airmail, postage dues, complete booklets, railways, Liberation, millésimes and more. Numerous sets and singles in the $10-$20 range. The great majority are in good condition for the period but there are some faults: for example a 1fr+1fr Orphan (#B9, catalog value $400, blunt corner), a PEXIP souvenir sheet with commemorative cancel (#329, catalog value $300, small stain on front), and there are a few issues without gum. The covers are mostly FDC's from the 1950's, plus an FFI cover from 1944 (€25). Plus there is a small amount of non-France: Germany, Réunion CFA, etc. A useful lot to add to stock or for the collector trying to fill spaces. Shipping weight 2 lbs / 0.9 kilo. Scott $2,500+.
Estimate $200 - 300.
