Lot 858 /o 1893-1919, early commemorative group, mostly mint, 53 stamps with minor duplication, neatly arranged on 2 black stock pages, including Columbians, Trans-Mississippi, Pan-Americans, Louisiana Purchase, Jamestown and more (one of the 2¢ Lincoln Memorials is bluish paper). Most are o.g., mainly hinged or hinge remnants, but about a third are without gum or regummed (nearly all are cataloged as o.g.), and a mere 4 are used. Small faults (thins mainly) affect perhaps 10%-20% of the catalog value. Centering overall averages F.-V.F., a few better, a few worse. Scott $3,620. Estimate $250 - 350. |
