Ingalls, Laura, Pioneering American aviator (1893-1967); recipient of the Harmon Trophy; set and broke records for distance and for stunt flying; later imprisoned as a Nazi agent. Postal Cover with Autograph Note Signed "Laura Ingalls" on front, where she recounts her statistics from her historic Los Angeles-to-New York transatlantic flight on "Sept 12, 1935," with September 13 New York cancellation, undoubtedly carried on that flight.
