1851, 12¢ Washington, gray black (Scott 17), position 90L1, large margins all around including sheet margin at right, part o.g., hinge remnant; a small spot at top where the ink is slightly blurred, overall Very Fine to Extremely Fine, with 2021 P.S.A.G. certificate, which notes "trace o.g." which is inaccurate -the original gum covers about half the stamp. The Scott catalog value is $6,250 for o.g., $2,100 for no gum.
