The magnificent "California Coast" collection of art on stamps, 1930-2024, a huge world-class collection, meticulously arranged on Lindner black stock pages in 41 albums with binders, each stamp or set having the Scott number marked next to it, plus there are 11 minor albums. This wonderful collection was assembled over a 30 year period by a collector who was both passionate about art and demanding about quality. Artists represented range from Old Masters like Da Vinci and Rembrandt through Impressionists and Picasso to recent artists. Subjects include abstract, architecture, landscapes, murals, nudes, portraits, religious, ships, sculpture, still life and more. This is unquestionably one of the finest and most extensive such collections ever formed, and will provide years of pleasure for a collector to peruse and enjoy, or for a dealer to use as a deep and beautifully organized stock. In flawless condition throughout, all Fine to Very Fine or better. To give you a sample of this gorgeous collection, we have imaged the sections for Australia and Spain in their entirety.
