Japan, 1935, Manchukuo Emperor's Visit complete (J.S.C.A. C61-64. Scott 218-221), complete sheets of 20, fresh and well centered, o.g., 3 are never hinged; a few tiny flaws: 1s has a diagonal gum wrinkle at top, 3s has a minute hinge mark in the selvage at top, 6s has diagonal gum bends, 10s has a small tear at lower left, otherwise Fine to Very Fine. J.S.C.A. 195,500 yen for NH full sheets ($1,210). Scott $900 for hinged singles.
