Lot 602 1851-1939, a mint and used collection, hinged or in mounts on Scott album pages, with the main value in used 19th century issues, including 1869 Pictorials to the 15¢, Banknote issues to the 90¢, an o.g. $1 #261, also a few Washington-Franklins and many commemoratives (no back-of-the-book). Early issues are mainly used with occasional faults, becoming mostly all mint after about 1920, with some blocks and souvenir sheets. Centering ranges from Fine to Extremely Fine. A nice lot for the collector or for eBay sales, with many useful stamps. A selection of better pages has been imaged. Scott $11,000+. Estimate $1,200 - 1,800. |
