Dempsey, Jack, (1895-1983), William Harrison "Jack" Dempsey, nicknamed Kid Blackie and The Manassa Mauler, was an American boxer who competed from 1914 to 1927, and world heavyweight champion from 1919 to 1926. His signature with "To Jerry Good Luck Pal" on a heavy card stock beer and wine menu, presumably the owner of the establishment.
