Lot 598 /o Postal Stationery, mostly late 19th and early 20th century, an accumulation of approximately 7000 entires, with much duplication, acquired by the owner and then untouched for over 25 years, includes mainly 1¢-5¢ denominations, is predominately mint but about 5% is used, approximately 1000 of these entires are airmail; there is a mixture of large and small sizes throughout and some are identified by Scott #, type, knife, and envelope size, plus a large mint sheet album with perhaps 100 in total of unfolded wrappers; this lot could be loaded with finds and great for an in-depth study! Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Estimate $750 - 1,000. |
