Schimmer), The Cancellations of Mexico 1856-1874, published in 1983 in a limited and numbered edition of 500, hard bound, 314 pages, profusely illustrated, a classic work on the subject; nearly new; this is #250 of 500 and has been signed and endorsed by Dr. Schimmer "for my good friend Jim" [Dempsey]. The lot also contains The Postmarks of Mexico 1874-1900, by Karl H. Schimmer, published in 1977, hard bound, 448 pages, amply illustrated in black & white.
