France, 1849-1966, an extensive mint and used collection with some better values, hinged or in mounts on Scott album pages, including definitives, commemoratives, semi-postals, airmail, postage dues, military and occupation issues. The main value is in 19th century issues (catalog value approximately $4000), including 5f Napoleon ($750, usual small faults) and #49 (OG, $1400); plus there is useful coverage of early 20th century issues, with some duplication of used. Occasional small faults on early issues but the great bulk of the collection is sound and generally Fine to Very Fine. A useful collector-made collection for the collector.
