Special Delivery, 1895, 10¢ blue (Scott E5), natural s.e. at left, used with 2¢ postage on a lovely advertising cover with Providence, R.I. 1897 machine cancel (an early usage of machine cancels), addressed to Boston and not delivered because the recipient's office was closed. Reverse bears a printed Boston label explaining the special delivery service, Very Fine, a very scarce usage.
