Unpriced in Scott or SMQ as used. Scott is $450 for mint o.g., SMQ is $675 for XF 90 mint o.g. hinged. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500 Nearly all 19th century special printings are much scarcer used than their unused counterparts. The Scott catalog notes "while use of No. 211B for postage was legal, actual usage was rare". This lovely stamp is a true Gem of U.S. Philately. For reference, a Fine example (way off-center and in much lower quality than the beautiful example offered here) sold for $850 in a 2018 Siegel auction.
