Japan, 1939 (Feb 2), commercial cover from Osaka to Buenos Aires, Argentina, legal-size, marked "Airmail via San Francisco", franked with 30 sen, 50 sen and twelve 1 yen Taisho definitives (12.80 yen total), with 3 seals of the Gosho Kabushiki Co. on the reverse, a Buenos Aires 1 Mar. 1939 backstamp, and a seal on the edge reading "Recibido en Mal Estado" (received in bad condition) - a bumpy airplane flight perhaps? Expected cover wear as the seal would indicate, Very Good to Fine, a scarce and interesting usage. Scott 142, 144, 145a.
