The lot includes: a misc. folder of U.S. stamps and covers, ranging from a few scraps of 19th century issues to modern Transportation coils, also Test stamps, a large size cover with a complete set of the 1940 Famous Americans, some FDC's - even a few from the 1930's, and more. There is also a small collection of U.S. postal stationery cut squares on Scott album pages, 1853-1970's, catalog value perhaps $300-$500 (we didn't check closely). And there is a bundle of Great Britain items, mainly King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, odd sets, tagging errors, FDC's - just about any old thing that the collector could throw in. Even a couple classic French Suez Canal issues. A fun lot for the collector looking for something out of the ordinary - this could be an entertaining Sunday afternoon on a rainy day.
