1893 Columbian Exposition, a scarce and seldom seen 1892 Goldsmith postal card wrapper (UPSS EX24Wa, rarity "c" - not the more common 1893 design), an important and very scarce item for the Columbian postal card specialist; front and back halves completely separated, significant chipping at the edge and other edge faults including tears, etc, Very Good to Fine, most of the handful that still exist are generally in very poor condition.

Straight line auxiliary marking "UNMAILABLE" in violet on reverse along with a fair-related message…"and at night the illuminations completely turn my head", Fine to Very Fine, a nice example of this auxiliary marking.
