The collection begins with a small amount of 19th century used, then continues through Bank Note issues, Columbians, 1st Bureau issues, a few Trans-Mississippi, very rich in Washington-Franklins including coil pairs, numerous early commemoratives, 1922 definitives to the $5, Presidentials to the $5, Liberty series to the $5, plus special delivery, postage dues, parcel post, a few officials and a smattering of newspapers. A few faults noted (mainly creases or gum creases), and there are some regummed stamps in the 1890-1915 period, but there are mint never hinged stamps galore, especially in the $50-$150 catalog value range. Includes numerous definitives, commemoratives, a few airmail and some duck stamps, with a few plate blocks as well. Catalog values: 46 items are never hinged (2 with large gum skips), catalog value $1965; 13 are o.g. hinged, catalog value $578; 10 are regummed, catalog value $433 as o.g.; and one (#679) is precanceled, catalog value $22.50.
