Not only were his friends envious of his stamp collection they were most jealous of his spoon collection which he and his wife Ida acquired over years in the New York area. An accompanying article states they believe they were made in France and the silver is marked 800; all imaged on the website along with a 1954 article; a marvelous and unique lot for sure!
