Used includes # 14 ($145), 17 ($250), 36 ($300), 71 red PAID cancel ($295), 77 ($175), 89 E Grill tiny thin ($350), 97 F Grill ($250), 98 F Grill red cancel, thin ($275), 298 Pan-Am, light crease ($50), 311 $1 Farragut ($90), 324-327 Louisiana Purchase ($79.50), 370 Seward superb ($2) and 400A Pan-Pacific XF ($22.50).
Mint includes # 287 Trans-Mississippi mint OG HR ($110), 328-330 Jamestown mint OG HR ($212.50), 503 & 513 Washington-Franklin XF OG ($18), 559 7¢ McKinley NH XF ($15.50), and 646, 734 & 737 all XF-SUP NH ($2.55). All sound and without faults except where noted (faulty catalog $675). Centering ranges from V.G. to V.F. on the used, the mint range from V.G. to Superb. Quite a range of items. Scott $2,643.

1869-1952, mint and used collector's balance, a few hundred better stamps with modest duplication, all neatly arranged on black stock sheets.
Mint never hinged without faults includes a few Columbians, Jamestown complete and other early commemoratives, a part set of the 1922 issue to the $2, Huguenot-Walloon x 3, Washington Bicentennial, 2 sets of the Presidential issue plus one of the Prexy coils, Famous Americans, later definitives, scattered early airmail and a few other back-of-the-book. Total catalog value for this group comes to $5601.
Mint hinged without faults includes #179, 4¢, 10¢ and 30¢ Columbians, 50¢ Trans-Miss., 10¢ Louisiana Purchase, $5 #524, a few 1922 definitives to the $2, and a small group of early airmails etc. Total catalog value for this group comes to $2412.
Mint regummed or no gum includes #114, 158 (x4), 238, 326 and J3. Total catalog value for this group comes to $620.
Used includes only a handful of items, including #73 (x2), 113 (x2), 50¢ Trans-Miss. and O8. Total catalog value for this group comes to $726.
There is a small group of faulty also (missing perfs, thins, reperfed, light creases etc). Total catalog value for this group comes to $407 - however this group was not counted in the total catalog value for the lot.
Centering averages overwhelmingly F.-V.F., with a few better and a few worse. 14 stamps have certs, some graded. Where a stamp has a graded cert, we have marked the grade on the stock sheets.
This is definitely an excellent lot for the dealer, with many very salable stamps and sets in the $30 to $600 catalog value range. All are imaged on the web - have a look. Scott $9,359.

1870-1888, dealer's stock of used Bank Note issues, including Nos. 137, 149, 151 (x11), 152 (x4), 153 (x5, 2 with red postmarks), 154 (x5 sound, plus 4 with small faults), 155 (tear), 161, 162 and 187. Condition overall averages F.-V.F., with some V.F. and some Fine. All are sound except for the 5 noted (cataloging $1425). A nice lot of very salable stamps in above average quality overall. Scott $7,400.
