Colombia, 1859-2002, extensive mostly mint collection. Approximately 90% complete for the period, in mounts in 2 beautiful hingeless albums (made in Colombia, with titles in Spanish), including regular issues, commemoratives, airmail, souvenir sheets, officials and other back-of-the-book. There is some duplication of the earlier issues. Some used with mint to 1952, mint only after 1952. A few faults on the earliest issues affect perhaps 10% of the catalog value. The immense bulk of the lot is in good condition, o.g., some never hinged / some hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine, a wonderful lot for the serious South America collector or dealer. Scott approximately $11,500.
Estimate $2,000 - 2,500.
