Great Britain, 1840, Queen Victoria First Issue, 1d black (SG 2), plate 3 (?) - QK, tiny crease at lower left, tied to miniature cover from Newcastle on Tyne to Jedburgh, with a picture 4 page enclosure, notable for lack of punctuation & interesting contents---ie; "Mrs J has been rather easier but she is to have a blister on her side, & bids me to tell you that she is quite jealous of our correspondence and thinks it highly inappropriate in a young lady corresp.with an old married…." ect.
